The St. Regis Kanai Resort, Riviera Maya

The St. Regis Kanai Resort on the Riviera Maya has opened its luxurious doors.

Located a short distance from Cancun and Playa Del Carmen, the hotel draws inspiration from the Sian Ka’an Reserve, a neighboring nature reserve and UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The resort features a circular exterior design inspired by the Pleiades constellation, allowing for ocean views from almost every angle.

The resort, designed by Edmonds International and Chapi Chapo Design, boasts 124 guestrooms and 19 suites, including a Presidential Suite with a private terrace or plunge pool.

The guestrooms feature custom hanging mirrors, ceramic light pendants, intricate walnut wood-carved headboards, and bedside tables.

All guests can enjoy The St. Regis Signature Butler Service.

The resort’s food and beverage venues include TORO, a Latin-inspired bar and restaurant by Chef Richard Sandoval; Chaya, which combines local ingredients with Eastern Mediterranean culinary elements; Riviera, a beachfront venue that blends the South of France with the Mayan Riviera; The Library, which offers St. Regis’ signature afternoon tea and a tasting of Mexican chocolate; St. Regis Bar, an intimate venue; Jack’s Club, a hidden speakeasy; Pik Nik, a grab-and-go deli, and The Beach Club, serving light bites.

The St. Regis Spa offers eight treatment suites and a standalone salon, providing guests with treatments inspired by ancient practices and featuring local ingredients.

Guests can also enjoy the Athletic Club and access to a range of water sports and pools, including adults-only and family pools.

The resort also offers the Tortuga Children’s Club as part of its “Family Traditions” program, catering to families with young children.

The resort features over 50,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space spread across six meeting venues, including the Astor Ballroom and the 7,300-square-foot Great Lawn, accommodating up to 600 guests.
