The hotel always feels special and does everything well.
One surprising negative is the hotel’s refusal to participate in the Marriott Bonvoy program.
This might be a deal breaker for Marriott loyalists, particularly when Singapore is full of luxury Marriott options including the exceptional St Regis.

It is within walking distance of major attractions, including Gardens by the Bay, Marina Bay Sands Casino, and the Singapore Flyer.
The hotel is also surrounded by numerous shopping malls, restaurants, and entertainment venues, providing guests with endless opportunities to explore Singapore.
Room
UCT stayed in a Deluxe Marina room which was fantastic.
The Ritz-Carlton Singapore offers several room types from Deluxe, Grand and Premier through to Club level suites.
The Deluxe Room is perfect for solo travellers or couples, while the Premier Suite offers more space and comfort for families or groups.
The rooms are elegantly furnished with modern amenities, including a flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, and a spacious work desk.
The beds are wonderfully comfortable, with high-quality linens and pillows that UCT wanted to take home.
The bathrooms are equipped with a deep-soaking tub, a separate shower, and premium toiletries, providing guests with a luxurious bathing experience.
Many rooms have Marina Bay views.
Food and Drink
The Ritz-Carlton Singapore offers a range of dining options to suit different tastes and moods.
Colony is the hotel’s signature restaurant, serving a buffet of local and international dishes, while Summer Pavilion offers Cantonese cuisine in an elegant and intimate setting.
The bottomless champagne brunch at Colony is truly epic but be prepared for the serious hangover the next day!
Chihuly Lounge is perfect for afternoon tea, offering a selection of sweet and savoury treats, while the Club Lounge provides an exclusive space for guests to unwind and enjoy complimentary drinks and snacks.
Amenities
The Ritz-Carlton Singapore has excellent wellness and recreation facilities, including a spa, fitness centre, and swimming pool.
The Spa offers a range of treatments, including massages, facials, and body scrubs, using premium products and techniques to rejuvenate and refresh guests.
The fitness centre is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, including cardio and strength training machines, and allows you to exercise without suffering from Singapore’s extreme humidity.

UCT loved our stay at the Ritz-Carlton.
Singapore is full of fantastic hotels but this is still a standout.
Service is great and there is a genuine effort to anticipate customer needs – although reception leans towards business-like in true Singaporean fashion.
It is surprising that the hotel refuses to participate in the Marriott Bonvoy program and you wonder why Marriott continues to allow this to happen.
The Ritz-Carlton Singapore would be a perfect hotel experience once they finally join Marriott Bonvoy.
