Six Senses Changes Tack With Its First Urban Property in Rome

Another great new luxury option in the Italian Capital
Six Senses Rome

Six Senses is a small luxury brand that specialises in high-end beach resorts.

The brand was acquired by IHG and is now positioned at the luxury end of the global portfolio.

The newest Six Senses property has just opened in Rome.

Six Senses Rome

This is the brand’s first hotel in Italy and interestingly is the first urban property that Six Senses has opened.

Nestled in the heart of Rome between the Pantheon and the Trevi Fountain, the Six Senses Rome is the perfect luxurious retreat in the Italian capital.

Although this is their first urban property, the Six Senses Rome follows the brand’s ethos and creates a perfect sense of place.

Materials like travertine stone are featured throughout the property which has 96 rooms and suites.

The highest-end suites — like this 2-bedroom Mellini Suite — have terraces, which feature triclinium-style marble seating areas.
